We are here in JFK for the night and then fly out tomorrow morning for Hong Kong, then right onto Beijing. We'll post again when we arrive.

Arrived safely in New York City
We have officially started our journey! After a crazy day of finishing up last minute work and home details, and a sick visit to the doctor for Sadie, Adam and I said our goodbyes to the girls and headed off for JFK. The girls were unfazed by the goodbyes, this is a true testament to how comfortable they feel with Erin and Grandma and Grandpa taking over child-duties. Leah told me last night, "Grandpa is going to be my dad for a little bit". LOL Hopefully, their good spirits last the whole time and they make things easy for them (as easy as life with four kids plus my adorably precocious niece could possibly be). We love you guys and can't thank you enough for this!

Happy Thanksgiving! We had a wonderful day but missed you terribly. The girls had fun playing and keeping Reagan entertained (who is fast asleep now thanks to them)! At dinner Emma was thankful for her sisters, Sadie for food, Rachel for Christmas presents, and Leah for her new brother Jack. They are such individuals. We hope you guys are enjoying your 16 hour date!
