We found out today that our Article 5 was picked up from the US Consulate in Guangzhou and has been sent onto the CCAA. We are now officially just waiting for Travel Approval (TA)... which should arrive in about two weeks (though of course I am hoping for sooner!). Once we have Travel Approval, our agency can schedule our travel dates. I'm still hoping to leave Mid-November... Can't wait to know for sure when we'll meet our little guy!
When I knew our A5 paperwork was dropped off, I planned to use those two weeks to get all my "Jack-prep" done... finish his room, start (and finish) packing, write up plans for the kids... And I've completed exactly NONE of this. Lots to do over the next few weeks... hopefully, it will keep me so busy I won't go crazy waiting for this TA to arrive!
